About Me

My first encounter with acting was as a young child. My very first role was as the grandmother in Little Red Riding Hood in 2nd Grade. For years my mother would tell the story about how my wig fell off during the play. As the audience froze, she said, I grabbed the wig and spun it around my head in a defiant celebration. My first taste of audience laughter. In high school, I followed my brother into an audition for a Shakespeare play, where I fell in love. I participated in 9 Shakespeare performances in my 4 years of high school.

While acting has always been a passion, it has not always been a muscle I have been formally exercising. After college, I worked for 4.5 years in pharmaceutical wholesale, finding my public speaking skills learned in theater, rather than tools from business school classes, to be my strongest ally. However, in early 2016 a family health crisis put many things into perspective for me, and I began chasing my old passion once again.

I was born and (primarily) raised in Philadelphia, but I have also lived in Florida, Minnesota, North Carolina, Missouri and California.

I currently run a small business and act full time, pursuing the dream of not only being my own boss, but having a creative outlet to explore the curious nature of our ever-changing minds!
